COMMUNITY
We believe that God in His Word calls His people to experience fellowship with one another. In the Community Group setting, the body of Christ becomes and functions as a family.

Community Groups meet on Sunday evenings during the school year at 5:30pm for fellowship, prayer, and sermon discussion. Groups are open to church members and non-members and meet in homes throughout the Birmingham metro area including Homewood, Hoover, Birmingham, Vestavia, Mountain Brook, & Oak Mountain.

To join a Community Group, contact Rev. John Pearson at the link below. You are also welcome to visit one with a member you know or on your own.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Intergenerational ministry is a hallmark of Cahaba Park and is reflected in our Men's and Women's Ministries. These ministries offer Bible studies and events throughout the year for adults of all ages and stages with the aim to connect our adults in fellowship, encouragement, and care.

YOUTH
YOUTH 6th-12th
We aim to create a safe place where we partner with parents in making disciples of 6th-12th graders by reaching out to the community, teaching God's Word, nurturing Godly relationships and equipping students to live out their faith. We believe you are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’s grace and never so good that you don’t stand in utter need of God’s grace.
Ways to get involved:
-
Sunday School—9:00 am on the third floor of the house

CHILDREN
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Shepherding the hearts of our children is the main focus of our Children's Ministry. We teach them about the love of Christ in everything we do from Kid's Quest (Children's Church) to Sunday School, and various fun events throughout the year. Most of our Children's Ministry activities take place in the Children's building.

Infants through Four-Year-Olds
All of our littlest children are loved and cared for in the Nursery building. We have a check-in system for safety and to note specific needs. All of the nursery volunteers go through an application process that include a background check. There are lots of ways for your little ones to be involved at Cahaba Park from Sunday School and various events.

If you have questions regarding our Children's Ministry, please contact Beth Pearson.
PRAYER
God is building His church through His Spirit’s work in His people. We want to ensure that every prayer need of our congregation is prayed for by someone. If you have a prayer request you would like to make known to the leadership of Cahaba Park Church, please call the office at 205.870.1886 and ask for Sharon Lett.

MORNINGS OF PRAYER:
Throughout the year, Cahaba Park has Mornings of Prayer to pray for our church, our leaders, our community, and our world. We gather every hour on the hour from 6:00-11:00 am to pray for 30 minutes.

CARE
SHEPHERDING MINISTRY
With the growth of the church came a growing concern. How can we care well for everyone well so no one will fall through the cracks? We believe our Shepherding Ministry will help us love, serve, and care for the Body of Christ with intentional, personal contacts. The ministry provides a specific church contact that will stay in touch with each member on a consistent basis along with praying, and caring for them in a more proactive and intentional way. For more information about this ministry, contact Sharon Lett.

SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY
Cahaba Park Church desires to be a place where people of all abilities are enfolded into the life of the church. As our church seeks to engage the body of Christ in worship, community, and mission, we are happy to make accommodations to best love and serve your family. We would love to speak with you about your specific situation and how we can make accommodations for those with disabilities. If you are planning on visiting Cahaba Park and would like to speak with someone about your child/student with special needs, or if you are interested in volunteering or have a heart for special needs, please contact Beth Pearson.
