			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you find yourself hesitating to be a witness for Christ because you feel unprepared?  If you do, you&#8217;re not alone.  In this passage we are told of a group of rag-tag, unprepared disciples sent out without much of anything and instructed to be a witness for Christ.  To make matters seemingly worse, stuck right in the middle of this passage is the account of the beheading of John the Baptist.  What do they share in common?  Discipleship is costly, and anyone who would follow Jesus must reckon with the fate of John the Baptist.</p>
